·         With this website it gives a lot of facts and statics that will help to better my understanding of teen pregnancy. Seeing all these statics has helped me to realize the threat that this can cause on your body and the hardships that could come your way getting pregnant at such a young age. This website will be very useful as I continue reaching information about this topic.

Teen Pregnancy

Teen pregnancy is not an uncommon in today’s society.  We are influenced daily from; movies, TV, media, MTV, and even our parents will sit down and have talks about it with us. Three in every ten girls will become pregnant before the age of twenty. We all know it is not a good idea, yet choose to go against society. The questions are then asked, why do teens choose to put their life at risk? What are ways we can help prevent this from happening?

I have chosen to write about this topic because of complications not only to kids but also to the parents of the kid. Teen pregnancy should not be taken as a joke; it is a serious and rising risk factor that is happening among teens today. My plan is to help reach out to teen girls and help them understand the harm and change they are about to face.
